VioletBag Haul!

I realized that I have been hauling stuff left right and center but not done any haul posts!!

Ermmm maybe coz I dont want to feel too much guilt?? :D

So here's just a peek at my most recent haul:

I couple of year's ago I was feeling extremely frustrated that we werent getting konad stuff in India. I still fret over OPI and ChG not releasing their latest collections here but instead sending stuff from 2010 to India! But there is some respite atleast in terms of overall availability of things related to nail art. Thankfully now most of Konad stuff is quite easily available here.

VioletBag is one of the online shops in India to stock Konad and loads of other nail art related stuff. The offer COD (cash on delivery) and you can also earn reward points everytime you purchase from them..so after the third purchase you can start redeeming points.

Of course they also have a nice collection of other stuff including make up, bags, accessories, perfumes et all. But I couldnt look past the nail section!! 

Here's what I hauled:

I was impressed with their service. For a long time I wanted to check out the Konad double sided stamper. Its easy to pick up small designs like a single flower without picking up any other design on the stamping plate. However after I placed my order, the next day a customer service exec called me up saying that item was not in stock. Eeeeekks! 

So I told them I dont mind waiting if they could procure it for me.  And they DiD!!! I received my order in 5 days. Well packed, with polishes wrapped separately in bubble wrap.

Who can resist Hello Kitty stickers..right? ^_^

(pssst: my other hauls : I also got cheeky plates, Bundle Monster 3 plates, loads of BK holos, a few ChGs, a turkish holo glitter nail polish :Gold Rose brand, maybelline eye color tattoos, loads of clothes)Now I need a black glitter polish. Need to catch hold of someone coming back to India from US. Anybody reading this?) :D

Birthday Haul!!!

Of course what follows a birthday mani is Birthday haul!

However this was an unplanned haul..somethings had been ordered waaay back in Jan. Some in Feb, some March and soo on. One package from Llarowe got lost on its way to India (I blame customs..someone somewhere is enjoying holo polishes without knowing their importance!!!), and Leah generously agreed to replace that order which I promptly sent to a cousin visiting US.

As luck had it, my red angel plates got delayed and I had to file a complaint with USPS coz they couldnt locate where my parcel went  x_x

The OB-QA plates arrived without any misery (I have a few extra sets if anyone within India wants to buy). And my cousin got me Maybelline's eye tattoo in Pomegranate Punk!!! 

And all this arrived just in time for my birthday!!! :D

These were just too good to miss at 70% discount. Figured I can always buy more freedom system shades since they don't cost a bomb.

My Christmas Haul!!

Ok I know I am a bit late (ok! quite late) in posting this up..but I hope you will understand when I say that for days I could do nothing but stare at how beautiful this thing is.

I am going on a rant here..coz it caused me so much trouble to get this!!

I finally laid my hands on the ever so elusive "Naked Palette". It was an operation of sorts to mange to get this across from US. First I had a cousin's friend's relative pick this for me and the book of shadows for her (my cousin that is). However they didn't think this was soooo important since they left it back when they came to India. (eventually they returned it to the shop). Next my cousin (same one) went over to singapore, so we decided she'd pick it from Sephora there. However the markets plunged, US dollar went up, singapore dollar went further up..and the same thing that costs $48 in US costs became $65. (whoooaaa). So we chucked that plan.

Next on our agenda was Dubai. My bro-in-law stays there! If that failed I had Japan in my mind.

Before we explored a few other countries, an office colleague went to UK and got it from there. (whew!!!)

Enough has been said about "the palette". I am not going to describe each color with its undertone/texture/shimmer/glitter. Just enjoy the pics!!

I also received my NYX cherry culture haul!

Blushes: Cream blush in Natural, Powder blush in Desert rose, HD grinding blush in terra cotta

HD face primer and eye shadow base, Blotting paper, Jumbo pencils in black bean and rust,

Soft matte lip cream in: Stockholm, San paulo!

After this I have decided to go on a No-Buy and a strict one at that!

Beauty Joint Haul
