Triangle Story

I have a sudden inclination to all stamping plates geometrical

So this formed in my head and looked way cooler and easy to do. Especially after you see a bunch of vinyl videos and they make the whole thing look like a breeze. And then you feel like a pro yourself ..lol!

Yeah this mani got me to my knees! but lets skip the unpleasant part.

Happy International Nail Art Day : Twin Nails

On the ocassion of International Nail Art day on 1st Aug.. me and my nail bestie Dhara from (thehappitherapy.com) decided to do a bestie twin mani. All we had decided was that it had to show our special love (read obsession with polishes and nail art) so here's our manis:

Base: Orly Mirror ball on pointer and small

China Glaze glow with the flow and home sweet house music on gradients

Gradients are topped by ChG fairy dust

Decals made with uber chic 3-01 and filled with same as gradients

Stamping plates: Fun 2 and JQ 32

Hexy Neons

 Tried another set on nail vinyls I was sent for testing. This one is still in the making. Will update vinyl details when available. I tried to apply polish directly but it leaked under the vinyl so I redid with sponging a gradient and it turned out well but not as crisp as I would have liked.

This whole mani had a very duo-chrome effect with the stamping polish looking different and merging into the base in shade. I matted out the base and I got a nice effect that gives the depth and some highlights as the stamping polish is metallic. 

As i said in my review M-polish does not stink like wall paints and are very efficient as stamping polishes. Hottie is a metallic orange shade (on the lines of copper but less red). Hottie would have shown very well on dark shades but I wanted to experiment how it shows up on non-dark shades. And its definitely versatile.
